Join us for our Responsible AI Series

Our Responsible AI Programme’s full 2026 calendar has been released! Responsible AI is being run by CAT, with the generous sponsorship of ustwo. Across a series of sessions throughout 2026, we’ll explore some of the big questions around AI and climate. Topics will include challenging the narratives around AI’s environmental impact, risk and governance, introducing practical tools, and sharing some design best practices. The programme brings together practitioners, researchers and designers to make sense of how AI is shaping the systems we build and the responsibilities that come with it.

The first session was in April with a workshop run by our very own Sinem Görücü. The session included AI / ML practitioners, developers, researchers, and students. We explored how memes can help us re‑think the environmental footprint of AI & ML, as well as our experiences, practices, and struggles in addressing it.

Our second session takes place in-person on Thursday, May 28, at ustwo London. Karol See will lead participants through an interactive workshop where they will explore how to practically integrate values and ethics into AI risk assessment frameworks, moving beyond principled governance to practical approaches that actually shape how AI systems get built and deployed. Learn more about the event and register at our luma page.

The rest of the events for this year will be virtual so even more people passionate about Responsible AI can join. More details coming soon but please save the dates in the meantime!
